Programs
The Veteran's Day parade will be on Nov 6 and is a family event held in Historic Downtown Gadsden on Broad Street from 7th Street to 2nd Street. There is no entry fee.. The parade will begin at 2:00 p.m. and last until the last float has passed. Entries need to be ready to start lining up at 1:00 p.m. For questions please get in touch with Matt Nixon at 256-549-4671, mnixon@cityofgadsden.com, or Jennifer Gipson at 256-549-4679, jgipson@cityofgadsden.com weekdays from 8 am - 4 pm. The last day to enter is Friday, November 1, and information about the lineup will be sent out by Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
Note:
Lineup information will be sent out on November 5, 2024. The Veterans Day parade will be on November 6. Lineup begins at 1 pm, the parade will begin at 2:00 pm, and will end at the YMCA back parking lot. We will send out instructions of where to report closer to event.
*All bands will report to 1st Avenue as you have in the past. Buses and parents will drop off at intersection of 7th St and Henry Street. Pickup will be at YMCA parking lot.
This year the Parade will begin at 7th Street.
