5th Street Market is a multi-purpose venue that was first purchased by the City of Gadsden in 2016. After undergoing extensive renovations, 5th Street Market is now equipped with LED lighting, a heating system, roll-up doors, and bathrooms. Every summer, 5th Street Market is home to the local farmers market and is the perfect venue for craft shows and other markets. For more information call 256-549-4675
Standard rental rate for private event: $450 (6 hr block) or $800 (12 hr block). Please call for additional rates such as Holiday or Residential. Additional refundable damage deposit is required at time of reservation.
Note:
Facility Rental Refunds and Cancellations will be issued on the following scale:
Cancellations at least 90 days from the event will receive a 100% refund.
Cancellations at least 30 days from the event will receive a 50% refund or a full household credit to be used within one year of when the credit was issued.
Cancellations less than 30 days from the event will not receive a refund or a 50% household credit.
Security is required after 6pm, at any event in which alcohol will be served and for any party in which teenagers (ages 13-18) outnumber adults in attendance. Management reserves the right to assign the number of officers needed to manage the event. All checks must be payable to the City of Gadsden and mailed to PO Box 267 Gadsden, AL 35902, include DL# on the check.
