Memberships

This is a trout fishing single(1) day pass and is only valid on the day purchased. Trout fishing is permitted during the dates 10/15/2025-6/30/2026. A valid State of Alabama Fishing License is a separate and extra cost and must be current for each fisherperson to complete registration. Alabama State fishing licenses can be purchased online at https://www.outdooralabama.com/license-information or at the Coosa Landing Bait Shop. Trout Permits can also be purchased at the Noccalula Falls Campground office. The Trout Permits need to be easily accessible at all times when you are fishing in Black Creek. Trout Permits can be checked at any time when requested by staff or a volunteer. Fishing will be allowed between dawn and dusk each day from October 15, 2025 - June 30, 2026. This is a catch-and-release program until April 1st, 2026. Only fly fishing rods can be used, no spinning rods. Only use artificial lures, no crankbait, no bass lures or anything similar, no live bait, and no food bait. Fishing hooks must be debarbed and cannot be multi-hook lures. A $35.00 Season Pass permit can be purchased.
We ask everyone to respect the trout and other fisherpeople while fishing. Do not wade in water while fishing. Please leave no trash behind.
